Website Accessibility

We build and test for access
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, at level AA, the level widely used as the benchmark for accessible websites.
What that means in practice:
- headings keep to a logical order;
- color contrast has been checked;
- text is real text, not images of words;
- pages adapt to phones and to zoom;
- form fields have labels, and errors are explained in plain words;
- links and buttons say what they do;
- photos have text descriptions;
- every control works with the keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
Every page is tested with automated accessibility tools, and each change is also checked at desktop and mobile screen sizes before it is published.
We treat every failure as ours to fix
Limits we know of: alt text describes the main point of each photo, not every detail. Beyond that, if a page, a link or a form fails you, please consider it a bug we need to fix.
Found a barrier? Let us know at contact@bethunepestservices.com or (313) 351-0267, ideally with the page address and a short description. You’ll get an answer, and in the meantime we will provide what you need by phone or email.
